Creating and Maintaining a Beautiful Water Design

A Florida-based real estate investment trust managed to sell the 195-room Hilton St. Louis Downtown. This is part of a larger deal that was closed officially on December 2. Reports have not mentioned the exact amount that Hilton St. Louis was sold for. City records of St. Louis reports that Hilton St. Louis, which was located at 400 Olive Street gained a $6.89 million appraised value.

downtown-st-louis-hilton-hotel

According to an article by stlrealestate.news, “St. Louisans woke up to a unforeseen headline this past week when the downtown St. Louis Hilton hotel was sold as part of a larger $119 million deal that also included three other hotel properties.”

To be more specific, the article states that, “The Florida real estate agency, Orlando-based Xenia Hotels & Resorts Inc., which refused to disclose the buyer at the time of the sale this past Friday, sold the hotel to MCR St. Louis LLC, reported city real state records as of this Monday.”

The article also states that “Along with the Hilton Downtown, other hotels were apart of the multi-struck deal. They include the 162-room Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria, the 148-room Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown, and the 178-room Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore and Evanston.”

Moreover, “MCR plans on making additional acquisitions in upcoming years, and reported that they are incredibly excited and motivated to make the best out of their newfound property,” the article stated.

Like the Hilton Downtown, it is easy for your property to get a higher appraised value as well. If you are trying to sell your property, it is important to know and understand the need for home maintenance and improvement inside and outside your home.

One of the best techniques is to add a water feature to your landscape. Water features like koi ponds, water gardens and fountains have been topping trends for home landscaping in the past years and until now. However, it is important to know that even if these water features can make your landscape more relaxing, they also need to be maintained if you want them to be functional and attractive all the time.

pond

An article by the villagenews.com states that, “Homeowners should create a water feature design that is fitting with the scale and style of their homes while also keeping their lifestyles in mind. Ponds are popular water features and, like pools, come in both inground and above-ground styles. Above-ground ponds are easier and faster to build than inground ponds and may be safer options for parents of young children.”

The article also mentions that “Water features require the constant flow of water to prevent stagnation and proliferation of mosquito and other insect larvae. That requires a pump to push the water around.”

However, the article states that “Even pumps protected by an intake filter or screen can become clogged with debris. It’s necessary to routinely inspect the screen and the pump filter and remove any obstructions. Otherwise, the pump motor can overheat and malfunction.”

In addition, “The wrong balance of conditions in the water can cause problems,” the article stated.

So, according to the article, “Avoid locating the water feature where lawn and garden runoff will find its way into the water. Filtration and routine testing of water levels also can help. Water features that are not meant to become wildlife habitats may benefit from a mild sanitizer to keep algae at bay. A thorough cleaning of liners at the end of the season to eliminate materials that build up on the bottom can help, too.”

In preparation for the winter, the article states that “homeowners must decide if they want to keep the water feature running or shut it down. Many experts say smaller ponds should be drained, cleaned and left empty until spring. This is also a time to cut back the dead plant material and remove any tropicals from the water. Remove pumps and drain water feature lines so they make it through the winter without freezing.”

Furthermore, according to the article, “Homeowners should work with a skilled water garden expert in planning the feature’s design and location with safety and upkeep in mind.”

With a little bit of time and effort in applying several landscaping ideas and maintenance for your home, you can also get your property sold for bigger profits in no time.

Frontenac Residents Don’t Want a Change of Scenery

Residents of Frontenac, Mo are not happy about proposed construction and development of a 22-unit town home. This will be at a former quarry that is near 41 homeowners who live in a small number of streets on the west part of the busy Lindbergh Boulevard. Almost all of these homeowners planned to air their objections for the third time on Tuesday night, with regards to the Frontenac Planning and Zoning Commission. The town homes are expected to be sold for $500,000 on average, but whether this construction can move forward or not, the final decision will be made by the aldermen.

An article by stltoday.com states that “City Building Commissioner and Zoning Administrator John Morgan said the commission is expected to make a recommendation to the Board of Aldermen on re-zoning five acres of quarry property from commercial to residential use.”

west-end-park-with-samuels-photo

However, according to the article, “The proposal by Pulte Homes has spawned a unified quest to halt a project homeowners fear will turn quiet residential streets into a byway for vehicular traffic.

‘They want to burden us with access’ to the Villas at Frontenac, Robert Samuels says of the plan to route construction vehicles and, ultimately, more residential traffic through the neighborhood.”

The article also states that a West End Park resident, Bob Bauer, has one thing to say about the 11-acre quarry that separates the Upper and the Lower West End Park. “That vacant piece of land has been the best part of this neighborhood.” Bauer said.

However, the article states that a Pulte Homes engineer, Matt Segal “also dismissed worries that Villas at Frontenac construction will swell Upper West End park with dump trucks and heavy equipment.”

Read more about this story here — stltoday.com.

Worrying about the change that is expected to come upon West End Park is only a normal feeling for these residents, especially because nobody knows for sure what the outcome of this change is. But, it is important to realize that sometimes we need to make room for development. And when it comes to development, most of the present inconvenience result to future convenience. The things you view as inconvenience today can actually be the instrument for improvement and convenience tomorrow.

This is the same when you are trying to improve your home or backyard. There may be a few features you view as inconvenience, but you can blend these inconvenience with a few fixes and a touch of creativity to make way for a more improved and developed property.

Whether you have large or small gardens and backyards, you can apply great ideas for an amazing landscape and you can even make use of the the features growing out naturally there, for instance, bush gardens, etc. It is important to understand that the creation of one astonishing garden does not always mean totally replacing what is naturally in there. It also lies in making use of the natural features there to make your once dull garden bloom with life.

In a blog I ran across, businessdailyafrica.com, it  states that “gardening tastes would still change, there are those minimalists who would go crazy about the seamless geometric gardens, and those who fall for Japanese or French style gardens. But whatever taste or preference, here are some of the trends you can incorporate in your backyard to achieve the best out of your garden, no matter the history behind it.”

colour-blocking-garden

According to the article, “Colour-blocking has been an ageless trend in women’s fashion for decades without losing its exquisiteness. It usually incorporates discrete blocks of bright colour shades, which can make a statement in your outdoor living spaces as well.”

Furthermore, the article states that “To achieve a more organic look, go for rustic natural material in your garden. This could be curved from stone or old wasted tree branches to form curvy garden seats or swing seats.”

The article also suggested the application of hyper-localism. According to the article, “This gardening trend encourages the use of locally-sourced flowers and plants that are native to a specific ecosystem.”

You can also mix modern and vintage gardening designs. In fact, the article states that “A modern day bed with a rustic bench or seat offers an intrepid distinction to the traditional furniture.”

For those who live in urban spaces but would love to incorporate the feel of nature into their homes, the article states that “Bonsai plants come to the rescue!”

In an interview with a bonsai plants expert, Prachi Shah, the article states that “grafted fruit trees can be planted anywhere, even in your balcony for those in urban living. She imports grafted desert rose plants in more than 300 different flower varieties and more so grafted assorted fruit plants namely; mango, guava, pomegranate, cherry, papaya, custard apple.

While planting, one has to mix the soil and fertilizers or organic manure in proportions. Clipping the branches helps to get more fruits and maintain the health of the plant. If planting any grafted fruit tree on your balcony, ensure that you change the pot as the plant grows, say after two years, she said.”

Additionally, the article mentions that “If you want to turn your outdoor space into a paradise where everyone can have some fun any time they are home, then think green — think golf course green. Golf course green is usually referred to as putting green.”

According to the article, “‘Golf course landscaping is the ultimate upgrade to a home scenery,’ said Director of Jaria Hortscapes, James Munuve. Munuve observes that people do not want places they have to weed. They want places where they can relax and play.”

When it comes to improving property, homeowners should never fear present inconvenience but use them as a stepping stone for overall improvement. But, in the case of developing the West End Park quarry, it is important for the administrators to make sure this project can really benefit everybody and ensure no major inconvenience to the residents.

Turn Your Lawn Into a Green Oasis

A vacant office building at the Central West End corner was now replaced by a row of five new townhouses. These townhouses are meant to complement their historic St. Louis neighbors. The empty 2-story office building can no longer be seen but there will be five attached townhouses at 4485 Westminster Place in its place. This plan was under the developer Jim Dwyer€™s. But, there still remains about 50 of the district€™s original 57 homes.

townhouses-plan-for-westminster-place

In an article by stltoday.com, it states that “Dwyer, through his Maidstone Ventures LLC, paid $300,000 for the building, according to documents filed with the city’s Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority. He plans to raze the structure and replace it with five townhouses for about $2 million.”

According to the article,  “The Westminster project’s preliminary design by Cohen Architecture Company is meant to blend the new three-story houses with the century-old homes nearby without mimicking them. Features include first-floor projecting bays and pediments over top-floor windows.”

In addition, the article states that “Private financing for the project is planned but property tax abatement is in the mixture. The LCRA board voted at its meeting Dec. 13 to support the project with five years of 50 percent tax abatement followed by five years of 25 percent abatement. The existing building’s assessed value is $29,700. Alderman Lyda Krewson, whose 28th Ward encompasses the site, supports Dwyer’s tax abatement request.

Dwyer pointed out that even with the proposed tax abatement, the site will produce city property tax revenue for the first time since the 1960s because it no longer belongs to a nonprofit. Some of the revenue will go to the neighborhood’s Cathedral Square Special Business District, which provides street and pedestrian lighting additions and works to reduce crime and resolve traffic and parking problems.”

As new developments in St. Louis arise like the Westminster’s project, and as more and more apartment buildings and modern residential homes come into existence, homes that have big, luscious green lawns could be phased out. If you are a homeowner that is lucky enough to have a big yard, make sure to keep your yard green and healthy, and that will make it that much more beautiful.

GALAWN01

You can have a beautiful lawn by following some of these helpful tips. Having a perfect lawn is everybody’s dream, wherein kids can enjoy playing for hours.

In a recent article by southernliving.com, it says that “If your lawn doesn’t have any obvious problems, a simple soil test kit from a home-improvement store can tell you how acid or alkaline your soil is (the pH). A pH of 7 is neutral, a higher number is more alkaline, and a lower number is more acid. Most grasses like a soil pH of 6.5–mildly acid. If the soil is too acid, lime is the remedy. If it’s too alkaline, you may need other amendments such as iron sulfate to get the needed balance.”

Suggestions regarding the best types of grass were also mentioned in the article, stating that, “Cool-season Lawns Grasses that stay green in winter are cool-season kinds; Kentucky bluegrass, fescue, and perennial ryegrass lawns are growing strong now.  Feed them with a fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Lawn Food 36-6-6 or Schultz Expert Gardener Fertilizer 30-3-4.

Warm-season Grasses Bermuda, centipede, St. Augustine, Zoysia, and buffalo grass like warm weather and have just greened up. Fertilize them now with a product such as Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Fertilizer 29-3-4 or Sta-Green Lawn Fertilizer 29-2-5.”

More importantly, according to the article, “Check the labels of all fertilizers, especially those with added weed preventers, to make sure that they are compatible with your type of grass. Many healthy lawns have been destroyed overnight by good-intentioned homeowners who didn’t check the label. As with all plants, knowing the needs and growth habit of your particular type of grass will help you care for it correctly. “

It is good to see new buildings and townhouses rising in place of old and abandoned buildings. However having a beautiful yard would make it that much more appealing. The tips mentioned above can help you have a thick, beautiful, green lawn to go with your new property.

Historical Home Sparks Landscape Ideas

106 years ago, a home was built and it belonged to one of the longest serving mayors of Joplin, Mo. Now, the first house in the Roanoke neighborhood that’s considered architecturally rich could become a historic landmark. After winning approval from City Council, the house which is located at 721 N is to get an award for local landmark status by owners Jill and Jason Sullivan. The house was built in 1910 for Jesse Osborne, who also happens to be a partner in the realty company that developed the northwest Joplin neighborhood.

According to the article by joplinglobe.com, “The Sullivans’ foursquare house on North Sergeant Avenue has historical value to Joplin and the Roanoke neighborhood.”

“We were fascinated by the history of the home and how it had been maintained — how it had been there for so long and throughout all that time the historical integrity was still intact,” Jill Sullivan said. “There has never been a major renovation of any sort other than there had been three sleeping porches added either in the 1920s or 1930s.”

The article also mentioned that “the Sullivan’s are mainstays at the Joplin Public Library. Jason Sullivan is a senior research assistant and Jill Sullivan last year was selected as executive director of the Post Memorial Art Reference Library, housed in the public library, after working for a decade in the main library. In fact, the Sullivan’s acquired the house from Jill Sullivan’s predecessor at the Post library, Leslie Simpson and her husband, retired Missouri Southern State University English professor Dale Simpson.

Approaching retirement, the Simpsons decided to sell the house so they could move to St. Louis to be near their children and grandchildren. It was a pleasant happenstance for both the Sullivan’s and Simpsons when the Post job and the sale of the house occurred together.”

Additionally, “the structure of Osborne’s house has not been substantially altered, though it had been changed cosmetically before the Simpsons owned it.”

“It had been modernized by previous owners into the 1970s style with flocked wall paper and sculptured carpet. The carpet was the first thing to go, and we refinished the (wood) floors. I spent many, many years stripping paint from the woodwork. It was more cosmetic things I wanted to do to take it back to the period,” Simpson said.

You can read the entire article here here — joplinglobe.com.

Anybody can own an award-winning home with award-winning landscape. Whether you own a modern or historical property, you can transform it into a property deserving of an award.

Whether your purpose for landscaping your home is for your own personal enjoyment or to attract potential buyers, the results can truly please you, and the good news is that you don’t need to spend a fortune or wait forever to accomplish this. Here are some home landscaping ideas that you will love to do on your own.

landscape-path

A recent article by landarchs.com states that “Using mulch or rocks is a great way to ensure that you don’t get overrun by weeds after you plant your newly acquired end of the season sale plants.”

The article also states that “A great idea for landscaping and bringing in nature in a creative way is to strategically plant fruit trees. Fruit trees can add a special something to a boring yard. Not only do they add texture and dimension, but they also are easy to grow and are useful for providing yummy treats for the family. In the spring they will also have delicious smelling flowers that will accent your yard.”

More specifically, according to the article, “If you are trying to save a few bucks and love to find a great deal, then you should consider checking out for the discount plants. You can come across some great deals that you can plant right away and enjoy. These are usually larger because they have had the whole season to get bigger so they will fill spots in your yard more fully than if you were to buy them at the beginning of the season.”

Lastly, the article states that “When in doubt, go with roses. They are usually inexpensive and look wonderful no matter where you plant them. Just be sure that you know if they will require a surface to climb on or if they are the standard bush variety. Roses always add an air of sophistication and charm to any landscape.”

Like the Sullivan’s, it is not impossible to live in a home you can be proud of. It doesn’t even matter what era your house was built, the type of house it is, or whether you are working with a large or small amount of space. What matters, is that you will be able to tweak it into something you like and something you are proud of without spending too much time, money and effort.

Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping Helps Revitalize Neighborhoods

An urban planner suggested that a tiny-homes park, trails, a learning barge, and an in-river or riverfront sculpture can benefit Cape Girardeau’s Red Star neighborhood. Up to 100 hours of pro bono urban planning is going to be provided by Benchmark Planning, which also has an office in St. Louis, for the improvement of the neighborhood. According to Red Star Revival officials, trails are a practical choice.

red-star-neighborhood-to-improve

In an article by semissourian.com, “Vagn Hansen II of North Carolina-based Benchmark Planning recently outlined the concepts at a meeting with Cape Girardeau city planner Ryan Shrimplin and leaders of the Red Star Neighborhood Revival organization.

Other suggestions include a demonstration rice field, remediation of Sloan Creek to a “more natural environment,” shoreline recreation fields and a “maker faire” that could celebrate the manufacturing history of the neighborhood.”

More precisely, “Hansen suggested a tiny-homes RV park could be developed along the riverfront in cooperation with the nearby Isle Casino. The tiny houses on wheels amount to “recreational vehicles,” he said. Such houses could be 400 to 500 square feet.”

Additionally, “Hansen suggested a learning center could be built on a barge and docked on the shore. According to the preliminary planning document, the center could focus on the Mississippi River environment as well as “sustainable development” involving recycled water, solar energy and recycled construction materials.”

For Red Star neighborhood organization vice president, Dan Presson, the article states that “he favors creating new walking trails that would connect to Southeast Missouri State University. A sculpture with a river theme appeals to him, too. Presson said an educational component would be “a wonderful use of the property.”

According to the article, “Presson and Shrimplin said the neighborhood needs something that would draw people. Presson and other members of the group want to encourage more home ownership and investment in the neighborhood. “

You can read more at semissourian.com.

If all homeowners in the Red Star neighborhood would consider improving their own homes, the entire neighborhood would take on a whole new look. One way to spruce up the neighborhood is through routine lawn maintenance and new landscaping. There are many landscaping ideas that people can apply not only to the entire area, but specifically to their own home. These garden ideas can not only give joy and comfort to the household, but can also make your property the envy of the neighborhood.

If you want your home to be overall stylish and wholesome, you should not only consider improving the indoors but also the outdoors. You can take a look at some tips and pictures that will inspire you to improve your garden landscape.

garden-pathway

According to an article by homify.com, “Turn a corner of your driveway or a spot near the porch into a terraced space that will be easy to maintain. Let it sit next to the driveway and plant plenty of flowers for some colorful appeal as guests come calling! Use one pot for clusters of two or three different kinds of flowers and plants. This will create an interesting look and help you play around with colors as well.”

Moreover, the article also suggests to “create a natural rug by letting the lawn and the patio meet. If you want something that will be easy to maintain, then the best way to go it is to install a rock bed with plenty of rocks and pebbles as well as succulents that are more likely to withstand all weather conditions.”

For those who are concerned about having narrow spaces, you can “make a narrow space work wonders by installing a spiral like layered garden. Do it up with grass, succulents, and flowers.”

And for those who love privacy, “Create a private sitting area with benches like this which will fit right into any nook or corner. Ensure that there is a tall wall nearby or layer with planters so that privacy is maintained.”

Whether you just want to improve your garden landscape at home or want to improve the entire neighborhood like Cape Girardeau’s Red Star neighborhood, taking time to plan and explore landscaping ideas is the first step in the process.

New St. Louis Development To Overlook Beautiful Landscaping

From a Central West End parking lot, one of the tallest residential buildings is expected to rise next year. It will be a 36-story apartment tower with a stunningly modern appearance. According to the building information firm, Emporis, in Hamburg, Germany, it is also expected to tower 65 feet above the planned Ballpark Village apartment building downtown. Even with its expected height, it will still not be metro St Louis’ tallest residential building.

According to a recent article by stltoday.com “Renowned Chicago-based architecture firm Studio Gang Architects has been commissioned to design a 36-story residential tower in the Central West End. Situated between Chase Park Plaza (pictured at left) and Park East Tower, the complex at 100 North Kingshighway (and named One Hundred) will rise to 385 feet, and be significantly taller than its neighbors. “

More specifically, the article states that “Aside from the 630-foot Gateway Arch, the Kingshighway apartment building — named One Hundred — will look up in St. Louis to only the Metropolitan Square, One AT&T Center, Eagleton U.S. Courthouse, U.S. Bank Plaza, Laclede Gas, Southwestern Bell and Civil Courts buildings.”

The founding principal of Chicago-based Studio Gang said on Thursday “that One Hundred is designed to give its residents wide views of Forest Park to the west and the Arch to the east. Each of its 305 apartments will have a corner living room to increase the amount of interior daylight. One Hundred’s facade of angled glass is intended to enhance residents’ views and to save energy.”

“In a climate with four distinct seasons, we wanted to make it possible for residents to enjoy the different views and natural changes in light over the course of the year,” Gang said. “By experimenting with the geometry of the facade and refining the apartment layouts, we were able to make every apartment into a corner unit perched above the park and city.”

Read the full article here — stltoday.com.

With the many new and modern apartment buildings expected to rise in St. Louis like the One Hundred, residents have more options to live in a comfortable place. And with One Hundred’s view of Forest Park, it is not impossible to get your share of relaxing views and sceneries that will wipe away stress.

However, you don’t have to live in a high-rise apartment to enjoy a vast and striking view of nature. You can turn your lawn into a landscape masterpiece and surround your home with the soothing power of nature.

Roses such as Petunia, Snapdragon, Lily-of-the-Nile, and ‘Gertrude Jekyll’, can greatly add to your home’s welcoming entrance. If there is not enough space between the street and your house, a low fence in the front yard can do the trick as it makes your house look like it is far from the street and can give you space to plant flowers.

A recent article by southernliving.com states that “Your home may be your castle, but rather than surround it with a moat, use any of these ten wonderful yard landscaping ideas to add warmth, color, and texture to the place you love to live. From growing blooming shrubs, to planting annuals and perennials, to deer-proofing your garden, there are many beautiful and wonderful ways to make your home inviting and appealing.”

More specifically, according to the article, “Some of our best landscaping ideas include adding height with planters and baskets, and creating spaces where outdoor party guests can sit, relax, and enjoy drinks and company.

Flowers always make a home seem more welcoming. Adorn your entrance with assorted annuals and perennials to keep your home awash with color all year long.”

Other ideas mentioned in the article are as follows. “Another way to make the most of your yard landscape is by planting lovely rambling vines. We recommend growing this versatile vine on a fence, on a trellis, or in a container.

residential home with custom landscaping
Crinums laugh at drought, don’t need fertilizer, and welcome hot, humid summers with lily-like flowers that perfume the air. Because they grow into huge bulbs over time, they’re practically indestructible. If you need a low-maintenance, high-impact flower, this low-fuss lily will be your go-to plant.”

Additionally, “If you ask anyone what the easiest way to transform the look of your home landscape is, they’ll definitely tell you: blooms. Blossoming flowers, shrubs, and trees make an incredible impact across a yard, and you can add color in just one lasting step.

Each of these yard landscaping ideas is both attractive and functional, so let them stir your imagination. Then, use our best landscaping ideas to help you create the stunning outdoor living spaces you know you will cherish.”

An appealing environment can definitely improve one’s mood and combat stress and depression. Anybody can make a move to improve the environment they are living in not only for aesthetic reasons but also for maternal health and infant health reasons. You can do this without spending a lot of money. You can apply these ideas in your own simple and economical way.

Interior and Exterior Home Improvements That Raise Property Values

Matt Salviccio, the owner and developer of Salviccio Properties, spent $620,000 to buy a more than 14,000-square-foot two-story building at 4650 Hampton. The resident of South City intends to remodel the property and convert the building into 15 modern loft apartments for roughly $1 million. The apartments will be of high-efficiency and will vary in sizes from 650 to 800 square feet, which will comprise of a master bedroom, one and-a-half baths and a high-end kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

A recent article in prlog.org states that “Hilliker Corporation, a locally owned and managed commercial real estate company in St. Louis, Mo., recently assisted its client buy a property to be developed in his own neighborhood. The site is the former home of American Eagle Credit Union.”

drawing-of-new-apartments-in-st-louis

More specifically, the article mentioned that “There will be a full loft roof top deck featuring an outdoor kitchen, exterior seating, fire pits, and an expansive view of downtown. The parking lot holds 44 cars, and rent will range from $750 to $950 per month per unit.”

You can read more at prlog.org.

Like Matt Salviccio, homeowners can also renovate their place or tweak it into something better. They don’t even need to buy a new property to get a new feel of their place. They just need to know how they can upgrade their place, not only for comfortable living, but to add value to it, especially if they are considering selling the property.

Many people consider home remodeling as a true labor of love. Whether you are remodeling the interior, or doing work on the exterior such as landscaping or gardening, most homeowners nowadays try to tweak their homes based on their likes and dislikes.

A blog by klaudiascorner.net even says “Everyone can agree that it’s nice to come back to somewhere comforting and familiar after a rough day at the office. But, there does come a time where you may need to think about other people when making changes to your home. This is when you may be thinking about selling your home in the near future.

This is why you may need to start thinking of things you can do to your home to help raise its value before you put it on the market.”

According to the blog, “Open plan living is now more fashionable than it’s ever been. If you have a wall in your home that is non-structural, consider knocking it down.” However, “Always check with a professional first for what constitutes ‘structural’. After all, you don’t want to risk knocking down a wall and then the rest of your homecoming with it.”

newly-remodeled-kitchen

Additionally,  the article states that, “this most important thing to get right when you are doing up your home to sell is the kitchen. New homeowners tend to look at the kitchen as their first port of call for remodeling. If you can provide some brilliant kitchen home additions already, you are one step ahead of them – and therefore closer to pulling a sale.”

For the flooring and the garden, the blog advises to “always consider getting laminate or wood flooring installed rather than carpets, as that way you will appeal to pet owners too!” And, “It makes sense to have a beautifully presented garden for potential buyers to come and look at. Spend an afternoon trimming, pruning and clearing and your garden could be the very thing that seals the deal for you.”

Renovating and upgrading your home may not be a very easy task and professional help may be required in some areas, but it is a significant step towards a guaranteed real estate profit.
